George M. Gomez
George M. Gomez counsels clients on criminal, immigration, and personal injury matters in Cook and Lake County. He is an experienced litigator, having tried dozens of trial in state court, including Class X felonies, and has a growing federal practice. George has negotiated many favorable results for his clients, including reduction of potential sentences and probation. When necessary, George carefully assesses the immigration status of his client when developing his criminal defense strategy. He has also successfully defeated deportation proceedings and obtained adjustment of status, work authorizations and other necessary immigration documentation.

George was born and raised in Round Lake, Illinois. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Northern Illinois University. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Timothy McCann in Kendall County. He also studied French and European Union law at the University of Bordeaux.
